4A – Forming An Opportunity Belief

I think my need for entrepreneurship comes from my well understanding of others. I think I am a person who is good at capturing the emotions of others, so I will have an understanding of the needs of others. Recently, viral pneumonia in Wuhan, China has become a big problem, which directly led to a large increase in the demand for related protective equipment. There are many self-protection-conscious people who have high demand for masks, and purchase a large number of existing masks in the market. According to scientific analysis, this time the infectious virus will last at least 4 months, which means that the demand for masks will remain high in the short term. Many mask processing factories are increasing output in response to the booming market. I am 90% sure that the market for related protection products has a opportunity.

I asked foreign students from China and my family around me, and they had a relatively deep understanding of the dangers of pneumonia.

Reflection
I learned from other people's reactions that demand changes with the environment, and unexpected situations increase opportunities. One of the things I'm most surprised about is that some opportunities are short in time, and they are only going to last a few months.

I think my original opportunity is very small, because the manufacturing plant of related supplies is in the process of producing and processing supplies to supply market share.

3A – Your Entrepreneurship Story

Personally, entrepreneurship has always been a relatively far away from me. I'm interested in entrepreneurship because I think it allows me to realize my personal value. I have had internships at several different companies, including one of the top three insurance companies in China. This internship experience has taught me a lot. A healthy company has a reasonable division of labor. Such an efficient way of working makes me feel the use of human resources by the enterprise. During the two-month internship, I was fortunate to meet the chairman of our company, and his speech has left a deep impression on me. The chairman mentioned the following points in his speech, including the current progress, this year's goals and the company's entrepreneurial spirit. When he talked about the company's entrepreneurial spirit, his words were infectious and made me passionate. I think such personality charm is essential for entrepreneurship. I hope that in the course of ENT3003, I can learn the personality required for entrepreneurship and give me  entrepreneurial advice as well.

1.     There is no retail store around my apartment.

Why? Most retail stores are built by the gas station. There is no gas station nearby my apartment.

2.     Fog on the mirror after taking a shower

Why? I take the shower way to long and the temperature in the bathroom becomes higher so the moist precipitate on the mirror.

3.     My socks get lost after I wash them in the washer machine.

Why? I always do my laundry in a rush and some socks were left behind in the washer when I put other clothes into the dryer.

4.     Smoke detector get triggered accidentally while I am cooking.

Why? The smoke detector is to sensitive to any kinds of smoke and the way I cook my steak caused a lot of smokes.

5.     The Reitz union has a very low temperature and I feel cold.

Why? I don’t wear much clothes but I do get cold easily. Because I am sensitive to the difference of temperature, I feel it cold of the temperature in Reitz Union.

6.     The tap must run cold water for a while before it comes out of hot water.

Why? The room temperature is cooler than the hot water we want, so the water first came out has been adjust to the room temperature already.

7. Mobile phone has bad signal in some places.

Why? T-mobile does not cover all the places in Gainesville, it does not have enough signal station in Gainesville.

7.     Computers sometimes cannot automatically connect to school wifi.

Why? My computer has an auto connection to guest wifi which I shouldn’t be using so I have to switch it every time.

8.     I couldn’t find parking spot on campus.

Why? Parking lot on campus is not enough for every student who has a car.

10. Calls are turned into voicemail.

Why? People hung up me and turn me into a voicemail which they would be never listened again.

11. I accidentally touch siri on the phone

Why? It is easy for me to touch the home button on my phone while I am doing other stuff.

12. Shoes get dirty when going out on a rainy day

Why? The mud gets wet and while I am walking through the campus, my shoes get dirty.

13. Turning off the lights before going to bed.

Why? It requires me to be more careful about what is in between me and bed.

14. The keyboard sound of my roommate is very loud and will distract me from studying.

Why? My roommate loves playing video games and the lifestyle of him and I is different.

15. I can often hear someone talking downstairs in the middle of the night.

Why? College students love to have parties on weekends and they often hang out after the party till midnight.

16. Delivery food often gets cold when I get it.

Why? The restaurant I would like to order is far away from my apartment so the fries gets cold easily on the way here.

17. Computers always ask for automatic updates.

Why? My computer requires latest update to provide a better consumer experience.

18. Bluetooth headset will automatically connect with other devices.

Why? I use my headset on multiple devices and it would automatically connect to the latest device I connected.

19. Fingerprint and facial unlock are sometimes insensitive.

Why? I used my iphone8 for 2 years and the home button is not as sensitive as before.

20. Mobile phone gets hot after playing games.

Why? Some of the games I played on my phone requires a very good quality and it caused the heat of the phone.

I find this task a bit difficult, because I feel that the things that "haunt me" are not necessarily things that can be changed. It is difficult for me to think negatively about things around me. So when I really started thinking, I found that I usually overlooked many problems in my life. Through this work, I reflect very well on my lifestyle.
