22A – Elevator Pitch No. 3

What is important to me is that my idea was not commonly accepted by everyone. I thought the idea of taking care of someone else's pet when they are away is a good idea. In fact, there are such product in the market could realize the same effect.
I used my body language more which caught the attention of the audience. At the same time, I felt more comfortable in front of the camera.

21A – Reading Reflection No. 2
The long-tail theory is a new theory emerging in the Internet age. Due to factors of cost and efficiency, when the venues and channels for merchandise storage, circulation, and display are wide enough, the cost of product production has dropped dramatically so that individuals can produce it, and the cost of goods sold When the price drops sharply, almost any product that used to seem to have extremely low demand will be bought as long as it is sold.
In the Internet era, because the cost of attention is greatly reduced, people may pay attention to the "tail" of the normal distribution curve at a very low cost, and the overall benefit of the "tail" may even exceed the "head". For example, a famous website is the world's largest online advertiser. It does not have a large customer, and its revenue comes entirely from small and medium-sized enterprises that are ignored by other advertisers. Anderson believes that the Internet era is an era that pays attention to the "long tail" and exerts the benefits of the "long tail".
Long-tail theory is related to our study very closely. Nowadays, In this fertile digital economy era, personalized service is the logic of Internet business survival.
I would practice myself to think of some new idea that would be adapted by minorities.
What surprised me is that I always thought that the "long-tail theory", as the name suggests, is to bring together the profits of a small number of niche markets, which is a variant of economies of scale. Although this understanding is not wrong, it is too simple and crude.
